What moves you? Join us on October 3, 2020 for the Ride for Refuge, a family-friendly cycling and walking fundraiser that supports charities who provide refuge and hope for displaced, vulnerable and exploited people everywhere.
Something profound happens when refugee claimants—fleeing persecution in their home country—are personally welcomed to Canada with a new home, a community of belonging, and the opportunity to flourish. They thrive and we all change for the better. You can help the most vulnerable children, men, and women seeking refugee protection in Canada.
This year, Kinbrace is riding (and walking) for our Community. Our Community, along with our housing and integration programs, is critical for the flourishing of refugee claimants as they begin their new life in Vancouver.
Recognizing that isolation – with its loneliness – can be very disorienting and unsettling for all of us, especially refugee claimants, we strive to be a community where we welcome, trust, and affirm each other.
It is in our community where refugee claimants are known and loved, and where strangers become family. Join us on Oct 3th in welcoming refugee claimants into the Kinbrace community.
